Abuse in any form can be damaging. One of the most disregarded forms of abuse is emotional/psychological abuse. In today’s society, we are unsure of how to identify what mental abuse really is due to the complexity and variety of each case. Many people go through life without even realizing they were a victim of abuse. Without thoroughly understanding what emotional abuse can do, it will continue to be a hindrance to society.
