North Naples Classical Conversations

Don Splain
Challenge IV Director
Don Splain serves as a Challenge IV Director for Classical Conversations, dedicated to equipping students to become leaders who, through faith in Christ, shape the world to reflect His Kingdom. Finishing his third year directing Challenge IV, he fosters an environment where students are encouraged to think deeply, express their knowledge, and learn through exploration—even by making mistakes. Though his degree is in culinary arts, he is deeply immersed in classical literature and the sciences, bringing a well-rounded perspective to discussions. He believes true leadership requires humility, but humility is only possible through strength. By guiding students to examine and refine their ideas through the lens of Scripture, he helps them develop discernment, wisdom, and the confidence to lead with conviction.
