I know we are meeting on Zoom tomorrow, but something important needs to be known before we start that meeting. I am sharing some unfortunate news regarding my availability for the upcoming graduation ceremony. I was made aware of this Friday evening and have been trying to sort this out ever since.
As you may know, I have been working as the contracted caterer at N'Gala, providing my services for corporate and private events. However, an unexpected change has put my participation in the graduation ceremony at risk. The event, initially scheduled for Friday, has been rescheduled to Thursday.
I have been diligently negotiating with the relevant parties to move the event back to Friday. Unfortunately, I find myself at the bottom of a long chain of decision-makers, where the client, event planner, host property "N'Gala," coordinator, and myself.
In the past, we have successfully coordinated event schedules with minimal conflicts, avoiding Wednesday events altogether and limiting Tuesday events. However, this particular circumstance presents a considerable challenge beyond my control.
I want to express my sincere regret for the possibility of not being able to attend the graduation ceremony due to this conflict. Directing your students this past year and witnessing their growth has been an absolute pleasure. With a heavy heart, I contemplate missing such a significant milestone in their academic journey.
Rest assured, my commitment to their continued education is unwavering, and I will continue to support their academic endeavors in every possible way. If any changes or alternative arrangements arise, I will promptly update everyone.
With proper planning, the graduation will proceed smoothly; I want to have prepared pre-recorded messages for the students and appropriate spots for me to speak. These messages can be played at the correct times during the ceremony to ensure your children feel acknowledged and celebrated.
Once again, I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience or disappointment this situation causes. I understand the importance of this moment for the students and their families. Please know that I am doing everything within my power to resolve this issue, but there is no guarantee of a successful outcome.
Your understanding and support are greatly appreciated. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me. Thank you for your cooperation.
